Fire extinguisher refilling is a professional process of replacing used or expired extinguishing agents and repressurizing the cylinder to ensure it is ready for use. The process involves depressurizing and dismantling the extinguisher, inspecting and cleaning internal components like the valve and o-rings, refilling the cylinder with the correct agent by weight, replacing worn parts, and repressurizing with the appropriate gas.Finally, a leak test is performed, and the extinguisher is prepared for service.
